Celebrate Recovery Meets every Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Round Valley Community Ministries.  Come join us at RVCM.  This Christ-centered, twelve step recovery program for those struggling with addiction and co-dependency issues.  This ministry is not simply for people with chemical addictions.  Many people have various "hurts, habits, and hang-ups they struggle with.  Other "addictions" revolve around food, work, sex, exercise, spending etc.  Experts have categorized over 200 addictions.  Some addictions such as workaholics are viewed as "good" by our culture, when in reality people can use work to escape problems in their lives.  Other people are "co-dependant" which means they help enable those who are dependant.  Co-dependants struggle with appropriate boundaries and often find their lives out of control because they have difficulty saying "no" to others.

He has come not only to preach good news to the poor and bring recovery of sight to the blind, but also to bring freedom to the prisoners.  (John 10:10)

Those who are addicted and who struggle with co-dependency issues are missing out on the fullest possible life that Jesus promises. (Luke 4:18)

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.  Stand firm then, and do not let yourself be burdened again by the yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1)

Celebrate Recovery is open to the entire community of Round Valley.  This is a very successful program that has helped thousands throughout the United States and other countries.

Although the RVCM is not a church it is an interdenominational ministry whose primary purpose is to provide Christian community-based opportunities for growth in Round Valley. Three to five Pastors and Lay Leaders of the local Christian churches serve as members of the Board of Directors. The volunteer administration and staff members are regular members of local congregations. Given that Round Valley includes the largest land-based Indian reservation in California, appropriately many of those in leadership roles are Native Americans. All members of the Round Valley community are invited to participate in its programs.

Children’s programs include a weekly After School Activities Program and a Tutoring Program that provides supervision, homework assistance, one-on-one tutoring, and enrichment activities four days a week. Adult programs include an Intercessors Prayer Ministry, weekly Bible Studies, and small support groups. Annual community-wide ministries include The Helping Hand, which distributes gift boxes of food to needy families during the Christmas holidays, and the Easter Sunrise Service and Breakfast. The Center is also a resource for materials, church-related activities, and interdenominational gatherings.
